Accounts Receivable Manager at ZeroNorth

As a AR controller, you will oversee preparation of invoicing, meeting DSO targets, Dispute identification and resolution, Revenue reconciliation, ECL calculation and interactions with key customers. You will collaborate with commercial teams and maintain strong dialogue with customers at all times.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of invoices based on operational transaction data and contractual agreements, while aligning with local jurisdiction requirements.

• Manage end-to-end invoicing processes, including sending invoices and dunning statements, and promptly resolving customer queries in coordination with internal stakeholders.

• Lead key customer discussions in close collaboration with commercial teams to address billing and payment matters.

• Play a critical role in cash flow management by maintaining a strong understanding of receivables and collection cycles.

• Utilize NetSuite for accounting, invoicing, and tracking activities to ensure accurate financial records.

• Drive process automation initiatives using internal or external solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.

• Lead and manage a small, agile team, ensuring productivity and continuous development.

• Ensure strong financial controls through revenue reconciliation, credit note approvals, application of incoming payments, and revenue-related journal entries.

• Take ownership of statutory audits, including preparation of documentation and coordination with auditors and external partners.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data security standards in all financial processes.

• Stay updated on regulatory changes across regions and support the implementation of necessary compliance updates.

• Identify and recommend improvements to processes, controls, and operational efficiencies.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Postgraduate degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) is preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management, preferably within multi-country or multi-jurisdiction environments.

• Strong experience in internal controls, compliance, and understanding of accounting governance frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is preferred.

• Exposure to global or fast-scaling organizations is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of IFRS accounting principles and practices.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

• High attention to detail with strong accuracy in managing complex financial data.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

• High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.

• Strong ownership mindset with a high level of accountability.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
