Director of Product at ZeroNorth

As a Director of Product, you join the core leadership team shaping the ZeroNorth Platform, the advanced SaaS solution driving maritime decarbonization. This strategic role is an in-office based at our headquarters in Copenhagen.

Reporting to the VP of Product, you will own the strategic vision for a specific, key platform area and collaborate closely with our world-class Engineering, UX, and Data & AI teams to bring it to life.

This complex role requires exceptional leadership to guide the entire product development process, from initial concept to customer value realization, including leading and mentoring a dedicated team of Product Managers.

Key responsibilities:

• Define the product vision and comprehensive roadmap for your domain, ensuring seamless alignment with other Product Directors to create a unified platform plan.
• Lead the entire product development cycle, from initial ideation and discovery through to final development and successful launch of innovative products and features.
• Drive and accelerate product development in close collaboration with teams of world-class engineers, data scientists, and data engineers.
• Integrate usability studies, market analysis, and research into actionable product requirements to maximize user satisfaction and business value.
• Define and rigorously analyze key metrics that inform the success of your products, ensuring decision-making is data-driven.
• Act as the internal authority by answering incoming questions about your product's capabilities and facilitating the creation and maintenance of professional product documentation.

Your profile:

• Possesses 10+ years of product management experience, ideally from a high-growth SaaS startup or scale-up.
• Has a proven track record of building and scaling great user-facing products across the full product cycle.
• Highly capable of translating complex scenarios into easily understood problems and defining the right metrics for success.
• Expert in collaboration and coordination, ensuring alignment and value creation across all stakeholders, including software developers and Account Executives.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, naturally conveying plans and visions, and is an excellent listener.
• Deeply passionate about making global trade green and aligning product strategy with this core mission.
• Fluent in both oral and written English, as this is our primary business language.
• Is intensely customer obsessed, always seeking feedback and integrating it into product requirements.
• Operates with a growth mindset, valuing outcomes over output and always looking to learn and improve.
• Understands that for a product to succeed, the team behind it needs to be fully empowered.
