Full Stack Software Engineer at ZeroNorth

As a Full Stack Software Engineer on our Bunker team, you will be at the heart of developing and enhancing our core enterprise web applications. These live platforms are used by clients worldwide to make critical, data-driven decisions that directly contribute to our decarbonisation goals.

You will join a collaborative environment, working closely with your team in Copenhagen and our partners in India. This role is perfect for a backend-focused engineer who is also comfortable working across the full stack to deliver end-to-end features, tackle technical debt, and ensure our systems run smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect & Build: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services and APIs using C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Develop Frontend Features: Collaborate on building intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.

• Drive Technical Excellence: Contribute to high-level technical designs and architectural decisions, ensuring our solutions are built for scale and maintainability.

• Own Your Work: Take ownership of features from conception to deployment, working with product managers and peers to translate user stories into high-quality code.

• Champion Quality: Write clean, testable code and advocate for best practices in testing, CI/CD, and system observability.

• Mentor & Collaborate: Elevate the team's performance by sharing your knowledge, providing constructive feedback in code reviews, and mentoring other engineers.

Your profile:

We're looking for a self-motivated and accountable engineer who balances technical perfection with pragmatic delivery.

• Experience: 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and shipping web applications.

• Primary Skill (.NET): Deep proficiency in C# and the .NET framework (ideally .NET Core / .NET 6+). You have strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Secondary Skill (Frontend): Solid experience with a modern frontend framework, preferably Angular and TypeScript.

• Technical Foundations: Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and data structures.

• Quality Mindset: Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and a commitment to building reliable software.

• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and experience working effectively in an Agile/Scrum team.

• Education: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

• Hands-on experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), yaml and teraform.

• Familiarity with microservices and monolith architecture.

• An interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance development productivity.
