What does it mean to be a Senior Business Analyst - Purchase at ZeroNorth?

To optimise and streamline purchasing processes across ZeroNorth by analysing procurement data, identifying improvement opportunities, ensuring compliance and supporting sustainable and cost-effective procurement strategies.

This role is crucial for driving informed, data-backed decisions that contribute to ZeroNorth’s mission of delivering software-driven decarbonisation in the shipping industry.

Qualification :

M.Sc., B.E., B. Tech, M.B.A or any equivalent graduate

Key Skills :

• Minimum 10 years of experience of working in Purchase module (ship management domain preferred) and should have worked in Product development environment

• Experience in ERP development is a must and should have worked in Product ERP companies

• Should have expertise in writing Software requirement Specifications and ability to understand Low level and high level designs

• Knowledge of relational databases (like SQL server, Oracle etc)

• Experience in evaluating current business processes and identifying potential areas for improvement.

• Creating Product documents like Reference manuals, User manuals etc

• Knowledge of data structures and ability to help design teams

• Should have knowledge of functional testing strategies and in implementing Design Thinking principles

• Overall experience of 10 to 15 years in Application development domain

Essential Job Functions :

• Prepare requirement specification, Product documentation and also user manuals for the Purchase module

• Ability to demonstrate the Purchase module to prospects and clients, understand the requirements and translate them into working protos and create specifications for them

• Ability to do model / configure the product based on customer needs and reduce customization during implementation at customer site

• Create integration specifications for third party applications like document management system etc

• Ability to support functional requirements of Maintenance module as and when needed
