Claims Specialist- Vessel Performance at ZeroNorth
As a Claims Specialist - Vessel Performance, you will play a key role in handling vessel performance claims, assisting product development, and directly engaging with customers on claims-related disputes.
Key responsibilities:
- Manages vessel performance claims (speed, fuel, etc.) under time charter parties.
- Resolves technical disputes with clients, analyzing performance data for contractual compliance.
- Supports product development with performance monitoring expertise.
- Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders for data-driven claim resolution.
- Prepares detailed reports and provides expert guidance on vessel performance.
- Works independently and efficiently under pressure.
Your profile:
- 2+ years of experience in vessel performance claims or time charter party disputes.
- Background in Marine Engineering, Deck Officer studies, or charter party underperformance claims.
- Strong understanding of time charter party clauses, vessel operations, and performance benchmarks.
- Confident in handling customer interactions, disputes, and report clarifications.
- Experience in product testing and improving performance analytics tools.
- Proficient in BI tools, MS Office, and Google Suite for data analysis.
- Able to work independently in a high-pressure environment, ensuring timely claim resolutions.
