What does it mean to be a Project Engineer at ZeroNorth?
We are looking to hire a Project Engineer to join the Configuration team. This role supports the configuration team with their Marine Engineering Knowledge and Sailing experience and will be responsible for turning data into actionable insights and by recognizing trends and anomalies in large multi-varied datasets. Also, helps in preparing Master Data Sheet, performing Data Integrity checks and other Configuration & Documentation activities.
This is a great opportunity for someone with Marine Background possessing strong quantitative and analytical skills to explore the state of art application that helps in digitizing Maritime Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
What you’ll be doing as a Project Engineer
- Configure the tags, dashboards, and overviews using internal tools based on the set standards and vessel/user-specific requirements.
- Perform data extracts, transformations, interpretations, and analysis.
- Prepare materials (spreadsheets, charts, presentations, etc.) that summarize data and draw conclusions to support user queries.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including project, engineering, and support teams.
- Contribute to data integrity checks and various application implementations and their modules.
- Help in preparing reports, data analysis documents, and commissioning certificates.
- Carry out assessments and technical studies of available data points for possible interfacing options and feasibility studies based on the project scope
- Carry out data analysis of maker documents to prepare MDS and perform data validation checks.
Experience Summary:
- Minimum 1+ Year of technical experience in the Maritime industry.
- Minimum 1+ Years of sailing experience as a Marine engineer as 3rd/4th Engineer.
Educational background:
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or Graduate Marine Engineer
Skill Set:
- Maritime domain experience, industrial maintenance.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (required).
- Analytical thinking and ability to work with large data sets.
- Data visualization skills.
- Critical thinking and time management skills.
- Self-initiative, attention to detail and ownership of tasks.
