What does it mean to be a Senior Sales Manager at ZeroNorth?
Having attracted several new customers and seeing a good growth trajectory in different regions across the globe, ZeroNorth is ready to be fully scaled in Japan by our new Senior Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for growing our client base with a focus on enterprise brands across Japan. You will be building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of customers, and be responsible for prospecting and negotiation of contracts.
Your areas of responsibility:
Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities in large/strategic accounts
Ensure pipeline accuracy based on evidence and not hope. You will be responsible for exceeding quarterly and annual targets
Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
Sales Strategy: Devise and execute aggressive sales strategies tailored to your target market. Think outside the box and go beyond the conventional methods to penetrate new clients and verticals
Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of ZeroNorth products through strong account management activities
Contribute to the root cause analysis on wins/losses and communicate lessons learned across different teams
Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty
Expand knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the company
Your profile:
Strong network at C-suite level within the maritime industry
Proven track record of selling large software deals ($1M+) to shipping companies
You understand service and sales from previous experience, you can build valuable relationships and get stakeholders engaged
You are tech and data-driven combined with solid B2B sales and account management experience
You must have a minimum of 15 years of experience as a high-performing Account Executive, Sales Manager or similar, consistently exceeding targets and delivering exceptional results towards large enterprise organisations and be used to negotiating with executive/C-level stakeholders
Rejections and setbacks only fuel your determination to succeed. You are relentless in your pursuit of success and don't back down in the face of challenges
You possess strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset. You understand the maritime/logistics market dynamics, identify opportunities, and adapt your approach accordingly
You are known to be a pragmatic team worker, and a strong communicator and you are recognised as a self-starter
Fluency in written and spoken English is required and some travel is expected.
