As the Senior Manager, Data Quality, you are a leader in steering the course for precision in maritime optimisation solutions. Your role is pivotal, ensuring the integrity of our data and AI-driven services. In this endeavor, you will lead and empower a dedicated team of Data Quality Analysts and Specialists. Your areas of responsibility: 

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 10+ Data Quality Analysts and Data Quality Specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.
• Strategic Oversight: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Data Quality team, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy are maintained.
• Customer Communication: Foster effective communication channels with our customers. Ensure data quality-related insights are conveyed clearly and precisely, addressing customer concerns and queries with professionalism and expertise.
• Data Analysis and Collaboration: Dive into our data ecosystem alongside your team, identifying and analyzing complex data quality issues. Collaborate closely with Data Engineers and our customers to guide corrective actions and ensure seamless integration within our data pipelines.
• Technical Expertise: Leverage your technical competence in tools like SQL or Python, contributing directly to data analysis tasks and the enhancement of our data quality processes.
• Innovation and Team Growth: Drive innovation within the team, contributing to the improvement of team processes, implementing innovative solutions, and providing guidance to more junior team members.

Who are you? 

• Educational Background: Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and/or data quality assurance, preferably in the maritime industry with a focus on vessel reporting.
• Technical Proficiency: Possess expertise in tools like SQL or Python, enhancing your ability to lead data analysis tasks and mentor team members effectively.
• Leadership Skills: Exhibit exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor, inspire, and lead high-performing teams.
• Effective Communicator: Demonstrate strong English communication skills, both internally with team members and externally towards customers. Your ability to convey intricate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is unparalleled.
