What does it mean to be a Director of Product at ZeroNorth?

The Director of Product is a core part of the team leadership in ZeroNorth Bunker; together with tech, UX, and Data & AI, you will lead the product development process from idea to value realisation for our customers. It is a broad and complex role requiring the right mindset and leadership working across a diverse set of responsibilities and tasks.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the development of the next generation digital bunker platform targeting buyers, suppliers, traders and brokers

• Lead the ideation, discovery and launch of innovative products & features

• Define and execute on our product development strategy and product road-map incl. providing recommendation on build, buy or partner

• Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers, data scientists & data engineers

• Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction

• Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products

• Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities

• Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation

You will flourish as our new Director of Product if you:

• Are passionate about making global trade green

• Possess deep domain knowledge about the bunker industry and want to apply this to build the next generation software for the industry

• Have the ability to translate complex scenarios into easily understood problems to solve

• Are a great collaborator. You work well with anyone from designers to account executives.

• Have strong communication skills. Explaining complex technical solutions, so everyone understands them is no issue for you.

• Know how to define and analyse the right metrics to inform the success of products

• Can coordinate a decision-making process with all stakeholders, including software developers, to ensure that we capture and create value for our customers and our company in the best possible way

• Have 5+ years of product management experience, working in an innovative software setup with product management and/or software engineering responsibilities - ideally from a startup or scaleup with SaaS solutions

• Have a proven track record of building great user-facing products

• Have Experience with managing the full product cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements and driving prioritisation

• Are fluent in both oral and written English, as this is our primary language

• Have a background in shipping (not a must, but a plus)
