What does it mean to be a Senior People Operations Specialist at ZeroNorth?
As we transition into a scale-up company with multiple locations worldwide and an ambition to continue on this growth journey at a fast pace, we are looking for a colleague with solid experience within Danish employment law and an appetite for supporting our rapid international expansion from a process-, policy- and employee experience perspective. This is where you come into the picture!
You will be the internal point of contact for employment-related / HR legal queries in our Danish entity consisting of 140 employees. As such, you will be the subject matter expert in this area and the one to provide HR legal guidance and support to our employees, leaders, and colleagues in the People & Culture team. This also entails staying up to date with changes to employment-related laws and regulations in Denmark and sharing relevant updates in this space with the team.
As we continue to open new entities globally, you will be fundamental in establishing the setup in terms of having the appropriate employee policies, contract templates, and handbooks in place with support from our local employment lawyers. You will be the anchor for our colleagues abroad, supporting them with queries related to their employment and seeking to ensure that we provide a consistent employee experience for all ZeroNortheners globally.
You will also oversee the people-related integration of Merge & Acquisition activities from an employment perspective. This includes conducting preliminary due diligence from a people perspective, and project managing the various tasks necessary to successfully integrate new and existing acquisitions into our organization and respective people processes. Previous experience with this is not a requirement.
Finally, you will be responsible for the creation of new policies and guidelines in the People & Culture team alongside our People Operations Specialist, with whom you will work closely and also provide second-level support.
In addition, you will:
Manage various internal projects from end-to-end
Support with the implementation of new HR tech (HRIS and contract automation platform)
Seek to identify and drive process improvement efforts, leveraging our people systems to streamline, automate and eliminate manual work where possible
Work closely with our colleagues in Legal and Finance to continue to strengthen our solid collaboration and cross-departmental processes
About you
3+ years of experience working in a similar role
Profound understanding of Danish employment law
Experience working in an international environment, supporting offices in various countries
Strong project management skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and fluently with people from all layers of the organization
Highly structured and detail-oriented
Ability to manage your time and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Service-minded and proactive mindset
Ability to work autonomously and independently, and not afraid to ask for help when needed
