IoT Lead Architect with proven track
We are currently looking for a highly experienced IoT Lead Architect with extensive knowhow in the Maritime Digitalization space, to complement our Vessel Performance Optimization team in developing new digital products and services.

In this role you will deliver the end-to-end architecture of the IoT solution feeding Digital Twin-based and Big Data-driven monitoring, analysis, and optimization of vessel performance, in close collaboration with existing technical teams.

You will

• Be responsible for synthesizing requirements, defining specifications, and overseeing implementation of the IoT platform capable of supporting the new digital products and
  services at scale
• Be an integral part of the vessel optimization team, guiding all technical work on software and systems integration, but also working closely with product, commercial and IT teams for developing and evolving the IoT vision according to business value and need

• Be responsible for both software and system architecture, in collaboration with the software engineering teams and the vessel data acquisition technical and operation leads
• Apply best practices for ensuring the highest degree of interoperability, reliability and robustness while conforming to existing and emerging standards
• Engage effectively with teams across the business to develop clear objectives for ZeroNorth’s IoT solution and to ensure that they integrate seamlessly with existing operations

Your profile

Your extensive knowhow spans the breadth and depth of technologies, sensors, networks, and system components of an IoT solution, coupled with more than 10 years of experience in digital Maritime systems. You have delivered IoT systems for data collection from vessel and third-party systems and have in-depth understanding and appreciation of the unique challenges presented by the Maritime environment.

You are a seasoned leader with strong problem solving and analytical skills. You have experience in senior executive and technical/scientific management roles and feel comfortable communicating across business levels with ease.

Fluency in written and spoken English is required and some travel is expected.
