What does it mean to be a Software Architect at ZeroNorth?

The Role 

To strengthen our platform and overall architecture of our products we are looking for a strong software/enterprise architect.

You will join a team of great software and data engineers who will continuously develop and improve our overall architecture and help implement this architecture across the company.

We are looking for someone who is equally skilled and passionate about both practical implementation as well as enabling your colleagues by guidance and tooling.

Reporting directly to our VP of Engineering you will be part of a team that ensures a proper adoption of both patterns and architectural decisions.

Our tech teams are small, flexible and employ agile methodologies in order to quickly provide the solutions we need. You will help design, develop and maintain our technical solutions, whether it be proof-of-concepts, MVPs or fully-fledged product offerings.

Your Profile

We imagine that you have a theoretical background with a Master’s in Computer Science or similar, and you have a strong professional background working with software architecture and multi tenant SaaS solutions for a min. of 8-10 years.

We are looking for a world-class software-architect who has a practical approach to architecture. One who can both do the walk and the talk. You are:

• Passionate about clean code, clean architecture and bringing quality to the solutions that we build.

• Eager to create a new digital business through iterative processes.

• Have passion for agile software development with an ability to bridge business and software development domains.

You have practical hand-on experience with software development in the cloud. You have experience with Domain-Driven-Design and done your part of event based architecture and knows the ins and outs of both.

We use a broad technology stack, including Python/Django, Go, and Typescript, as well as scalable cloud-based solutions such as AWS. But we are as an organisation not locked into a specific technology.

Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
